Install Bricoop Desktop
Bricoop Desktop is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Install it from the official store for your platform, or use the direct download fallback where one is published. Only install Bricoop from official sources.
macOS
The Mac App Store is the primary channel for macOS. Open the App Store, search for Bricoop, and install it from the official Bricoop listing.
If the store is unavailable, use the signed DMG direct-download fallback when one is published on the download page. Bricoop for macOS is a signed and notarized app. The first time you open it, macOS Gatekeeper may prompt you to confirm: open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and allow the app to open.
Windows
The Microsoft Store is the primary channel for Windows. Open the Microsoft Store, search for Bricoop, and install it from the official listing.
If the store is unavailable, use the installer fallback when one is published on the download page. If Windows SmartScreen warns that the installer is unsigned or unrecognized, cancel the install and use an official store or the official download page instead. Only run installers from official sources.
Linux
Linux packages are published per distribution family:
- Ubuntu and Debian: install the
.debpackage. - Fedora and the RHEL family: install the
.rpmpackage. - Other Linux distributions: run the
.AppImage. Before the first launch, mark it executable, for examplechmod +x Bricoop.AppImage, then run it.
Signing and permissions
Published artifacts are signed where the platform supports it. Verify the publisher and signature before installing, and only install Bricoop from official sources.
